*** How to get started? ***
1. Point your master domain to
our name servers or setup your
own private name servers.
You can find name server setup
instructions on "Configuration ->
Name Server Settings" section.
You can use our default *.main-
hosting.com name servers for all
your domains or you can setup
your own, private name servers.
2. Setup a website from where
you will provide web hosting
services.
We have prepared you a few
simple website templates that
can be installed to your master
account. Click on the "Look and
Feel -> Install Main Website"
section, choose a template, enter
your master account FTP
password and website will be
installed. You can use File Manager
or FTP client to download website
files to your computer and make
modifications. Finally you will
need to integrate client sign up
form. Client sign up form example
can be obtained form the "Look
and Feel -> Client Sign Up Form"
section. Paste it on your order
page and you will be able to start
accepting new client
registrations!
3. Setup feature sets and hosting
plans.
A feature set allows you to
control which features to offer
for your clients. For example if
you would like to disable MySQL,
just uncheck the "MySQL" box
when configuring a feature set.
To setup feature sets click on the
"Configuration -> Manage Feature
Sets" section.
A hosting plan can limit resources
assigned for each account. To
manage hosting plan click on the
"Configuration -> Manage Hosting
Plans" section.
4. Configure payment gateways.
If you plan to sell paid hosting
plans you need to have an active
PayPal or 2checkout.com account.
All payments will be made to your
accounts and orders activated
automatically. Click on the
"Configuration -> Manage
Payment Gateways" section to
setup how your clients will pay
you.
